Complete the work from class today:
- Write an outline with all the "toppings" (sentence variety, word choice, transitions, etc..)
- Highlight the essay per the instructions
- Transfer the Thesis , three topic sentences, and the first three words of the evidence for each body paragraph to the planning sheet
- Use the rubric to grade the essay for Purpose, Focus, Organization (4, 3,2,1); Evidence and Elaboration (4,3,2,1) and Conventions (2,1)
Notate evidence of good word choice, sentence variety, and correct any grammatical errors with a red pen.
